You also have to factor in distance driven - you arent going to save any money going from a 10mpg car to a 100mpg car if your daily commute is 2 miles.

Felix the Fuel Cost Calculator will let you enter your annual distance driven and the fuel costs in your area. As you add cars (entering monthly payment, insurance and fuel efficiency), Felix will calculate your monthly costs on the fly and allow you to compare cars to find the one that will save you money.
